I tried the £175 Liz Earle 24 Days Of Liz Earle Beauty Advent Calendar worth £576.50 and here's my verdict

The Liz Earle 24 Days Of Liz Earle Beauty Advent Calendar costs £175, but the contents are worth £576.50, with most of the 24 products full size.
Liz Earle is one of those beauty brands that has earned a loyal following over the years, so when I saw just how much was packed into the 24 Days Of Liz Earle Beauty Advent Calendar, I knew this was one for serious skincare fans.
At £175, it is undoubtedly a luxury purchase, but the calendar is worth £576.50, making the saving a pretty impressive £401.50. What really makes it stand out is the number of full-size products included. Rather than being filled with travel size samples, most of the 24 products included in this are full size, with several supersize treats thrown in too.
There is a substantial skincare and bodycare collection to enjoy, including cleansers, serums, moisturisers, eye creams, tonics, masks and body products. If you already have a Liz Earle favourite, there is a good chance it could be hiding behind one of the doors, while those new to the brand have the opportunity to try a huge selection in one go.
Of course, £175 is still a lot of money to spend on an advent calendar, even with the significant saving. But for a Liz Earle devotee, there is something reassuring about investing in a calendar from a brand you already know and trust. So, with so much inside, did it live up to expectations?

What I like about this Liz Earle advent calendar
The biggest selling point for me is just how generous the contents are. There are 24 products inside and most of them are full size, which makes a refreshing change from some other advent calendars where you open a door to find a tiny sample.
There are some particularly exciting full-size products included too, including some of the band’s beloved products. The Restore & Glow Instant Radiance Serum, Cleanse & Glow Transforming Gel Cleanser, Instant Brightening Eye Cream, Skin Repair Hydrating Night Cream and Superskin Superlip Lip Balm are all among the highlights, alongside the Superskin Advanced Lift & Define Serum in its full 28ml size.
There are also other great treats, including the 100ml Revitalise & Glow Illuminating Gel Moisturiser and 75ml Superskin Moisturiser with Natural Neroli. So, while you are getting the excitement of opening a door each day, you’re also building up a sizeable beauty collection that covers all the bases.
I also love the variety. This isn't simply 24 versions of the same type of skincare product. There are cleansers, serums, moisturisers, eye creams, tonics, masks, bodycare and handcare, meaning you can create a full Liz Earle routine rather than just collecting lots of similar products. In fact, I’d say if you buy this calendar you won’t need to refresh anything in your skincare cabinet for at least a few weeks.
Of course, there is the reassurance that comes with buying from such a well-known beauty brand too. If you've used Liz Earle before and already know you love its products, there is considerably less risk involved than with a calendar packed with unfamiliar brands. Even if you haven't tried everything before, Liz Earle is a name many beauty lovers will already recognise and trust.

What I don’t like about this Liz Earle advent calendar
There is really only one major drawback, and unfortunately it is a pretty significant one: the price.
At £175, this is a serious amount of money to spend on an advent calendar. Even though the contents are worth £576.50, you still need to be comfortable paying that amount upfront.
The saving is impressive, but it won't necessarily make this feel like an affordable purchase. Instead, I'd see it as a luxury Christmas treat, particularly for someone who already loves Liz Earle and would genuinely use the majority of the products.
My Verdict
If you are a Liz Earle fan, this feels like the ultimate way to count down to Christmas. The combination of familiar favourites, new products to discover and so many full-size treats makes it feel much more substantial than a typical beauty advent calendar.
The £576.50 total value is certainly impressive against the £175 price tag, and getting so many full-size products means you are not simply paying for the novelty of opening 24 little doors.
It isn’t necessarily the most affordable beauty calendar option, but it’s also not the most expensive, and if you already know and love Liz Earle the higher price comes with a little more reassurance. You have a much better idea of what you are getting and whether you are likely to use it.
For me, this is less of an everyday advent calendar and more of a luxury beauty splurge. If Liz Earle is already a favourite brand, though, it could be a very special Christmas treat and one where the contents keep giving long after December 25.
