Morrisons afternoon tea box: what do you get in £10 Mother’s Day UK hamper and is it available for delivery?

The afternoon tea box is made fresh to order from Morrisons, and contains enough goodies for two people to enjoy a decadent treat on Mother’s Day, which this year falls on Sunday, March 27.

The box, which costs just £10, contains a selection of sandwiches, pork pies, fruit scones, clotted cream, jam and cakes, all of which can be served with a refreshing cup of Yorkshire Tea which is also included.

All you have to do is provide the teapot and the tea cups.

If you wish, you can upgrade your afternoon tea and treat mum to a glass or two of bubbly ordering a bottle of Morrisons The Best Prosecco Valdobbiadene Docg for an extra £10, or The Best Prosecco DOC for an extra £7.

If you have a sibling joining you for this traditional British treat, or you want dad to join you too, then you can also order an afternoon tea box for one for £6 which contains the same tasty sweet and savoury treats.

Is the afternoon tea box available for delivery?

The afternoon tea box is only available for collection in store.

To order the afternoon tea, you simply have to select your local pick-up store, a pick-up date and a pick-up time. The box must be ordered at least three days in advance so that it can be freshly prepared to order.

All food in the afternoon tea box is ready to eat, so you simply have to serve it.
