I’m a fashion editor and spotted Suranne Jones wearing this lace blouse here’s how to get her style for less

Suranne Jones just nailed autumn style in this luxury lace blouse but I found these cheaper alternatives.
There are some celebrity outfits that immediately make me stop scrolling, and Suranne Jones’ latest look was one of them.
The actress stepped out for the Vigil Season 3 press event wearing a sharp grey suit with a beautiful lace blouse underneath. It’s the sort of outfit that looks polished without feeling too corporate, and I can already see it becoming a staple in my autumn wardrobe.
The actress was wearing a lace blouse from luxury fashion brand Rebecca Vallance. The Delphina Blouse £390 has a delicate lace finish and feminine detailing that works particularly well underneath the structured tailoring. And while I love a designer piece, I’m also a big believer that you don’t need to spend hundreds of pounds to recreate the overall look.
The cheaper alternatives I’ve found
The Mint Velvet Ivory Lace Pussybow Blouse £99 has that same romantic, slightly vintage feel. It would look just as good tucked into tailored trousers as it would worn with jeans. I particularly like the pussybow detail, which gives it a little more personality than a standard white blouse.
For a more affordable option, River Island’s Cream Lace Detail Drummer Jacket is £49. It isn't an exact copy of Suranne’s blouse, but if it’s the lace texture and feminine detailing you like about the original, this gives you a similar idea for considerably less.
I also found this Very Textured Lace Insert Detail Blouse £17.50 (reduced from £40) on sale. For less than £20, it’s a very easy way to tap into the lace blouse trend without committing to a designer price tag.
How I’d style it
What I really like about Suranne’s outfit is that the blouse isn't being treated as a special-occasion piece. Pairing lace with a grey suit makes the whole look feel modern and wearable, and it’s an outfit combination I’d happily take into the office.
I’d wear a lace blouse with tailored grey or black trousers and a matching blazer for work, then swap the suit for a midi skirt and knee-high boots at the weekend. Add a simple handbag and minimal jewellery and you have one of those outfits that looks more expensive than it actually is.
