Well, Tesco have officially welcomed in the festive season by announcing their Christmas sandwiches for this year - which will be available to buy from Monday, October 25.

Priced from just £2.50, the sandwiches will be available to buy at over 2,700 Tesco stores across the UK, as well as online.

There’s something for everyone, so whether you’re a vegan a meat eater, fancy a traditional bread sandwich or want to go lighter with a wrap, there will be a tasty snack to get your tastebuds excited and ready for the season.

What’s more, several of the Tesco Christmas sandwiches are also available as part of the £3 meal deal, which includes one sandwich, sub, wrap, pasty or salad, one snack and one drink.

The full range includes 16 tempting sandwiches, but below you’ll find our pick of the top five.

New for 2021, this delicious sandwich has everything you would want from a classic Christmas roast - all encased in bread.

There’s a British roast beef, parsnips and carrots, topped with a rich rosemary gravy mayo and nestled in a rosemary and thyme soft sub roll.

It’s full of pulled hickory pork topped with a rich rosemary gravy and stuffing mayonnaise, apple and Kentish cider sauce and lettuce in a barmarked wrap.

A delightful vegan and vegetarian option, which is full of rainbow colours and packed with a variety of seasonal flavours.

This is a beetroot tortilla wrap filled with perfectly roasted root vegetables, chestnuts, braised red cabbage, spinach, rosemary stuffing and covered in a tangy vegan mayonaise.

A sweet and spicy offering which has lots of classic Christmas flavours to excite your tasebuds.

Placed between soft malted bread, this lunchtime treat is packed with Beechwood smoked ham, crumbly Wensleydale and soft cheese, lettuce and finished with a sweet, sticky spiced pear and fig chutney.
