We've already downloaded the free playlist and I know it's going to make our next family train journey even more fun.
If there's one thing I always try to pack for family travel, it's something that will keep my son entertained without relying on a screen. As a family, we're huge fans of Yoto, and one of his favourite things to listen to is the Yoto Daily Draw Along episodes. So when I heard that Yoto had teamed up with Trainline to create a free collection especially for summer rail journeys, I downloaded it straight away.
My son is already excited to get started, and I know exactly why. He absolutely loves listening to Jake Harris guide him through each drawing, and I love seeing the huge smile on his face when he proudly shows me his finished masterpiece. Every picture is completely different because it's powered by his own imagination, which makes it even more special.

The new playlist has been created with train travel in mind and features 12 guided audio draw-alongs, including seven brand-new episodes. Each one takes children on a creative adventure inspired by everything you might spot from a train window, from bustling railway stations and city skylines to beautiful coastlines and mountain ranges.
The digital card is completely free and can be found in the Discover section of the Yoto app. It only takes a couple of taps to download before you leave, or you can add it to a Make Your Own Card if you'd rather listen offline during your journey. I'll definitely be downloading ours before we set off so it's ready to go alongside a sketchbook and plenty of coloured pencils.
As a parent, I'm always looking for activities that encourage creativity rather than endless scrolling, and this feels like such a lovely way to spend time travelling. The free Yoto x Trainline Draw Along collection is available from 8th July until 1st September 2026, making it the perfect companion for summer holidays, weekend adventures and family days out by rail.
If your little one already loves Yoto Daily like mine does, this is definitely worth downloading before your next train journey. I have a feeling it's going to be one of our favourite travel essentials this summer.
