Who made Meghan Markle’s symbolic ‘hike’ necklace and can you buy it?

The word ‘hike’ literally sends shivers down my spine, yes you guessed it, I am not your archetypal ‘hiker.’ However, if I was to go on a hike, chances are I would most certainly opt for a more casual outfit and more low-key accessories to match! However, then again, I am not Meghan Markle. 

Although she attempted to dress down in a J.Crew khaki coloured jacket, black vest and black leggings, it was her accessories that were less than low-key. As well as wearing ‘Navigator Power’ sunglasses by Victoria Beckham, she was wearing her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana’s Cartier wristwatch. According to The Daily Mail, “She also wore a Cartier tennis bracelet, inherited from Princess Diana. It has previously been estimated it could sell for £125,000 at auction due to its history. 

Meghan also wore a Cartier love bracelet, a Bentley & Skinner diamond tennis bracelet that is said to be a gift from King Charles, and a Jennifer Meyer Mini Bezel tennis bracelet.

Around her neck, Meghan wore ‘The Clarity Retreat’ Necklace, which was created by Maya Brenner in collaboration with Meghan’s good friend, Abigail Spencer.

It’s interesting that Meghan Markle chose to wear this very necklace on the day after the coronation, perhaps she was keen to manifest the things that she is keen on having in her life whilst at the same time letting go of matters that are not working? If you are keen on purchasing the necklace yourself, at the time of writing, there are only 10 left, and the necklace is priced at £445. 

There are also other three necklaces in the range, ‘The Healing Retreat Necklace,’ ‘The Love Retreat Necklace’  and ‘The Happiness Retreat. All of the crystal points are wrapped in a 14K gold band with 2.5 mm diamond. 

Abigail Spencer is an actress and appeared as a co-star on Suits with Meghan Markle. She also attended the wedding of Meghan and Prince Harry and was photographed alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Abigail also contributed to the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan. Town & Country said that “In the Sussexes’ 2022 Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, Spencer shared her perceptions of Meghan after she joined the royal family. “I saw that they were building her up, and then there was a shift and they started to tear her down. That was a really dark time, and I didn’t know what to do.”

Abigail, who has a son, Roman with her former husband, Andrew Pruett, was also born on the same day and same year as Meghan.
