England’s three match test series in the West Indies has begun today (Tuesday, 8 March) as the two great cricketing nations go head-to-head in the sport’s longest format.

The Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua plays host to the first Test as England look for a measure of redemption after their Twenty20 counterparts lost 3-2 in their own series against the West Indies earlier this year.

Joe Root will captain the visitors over the series as England look to add to their previous 51 series victories over the Caribbeans.

Here is everything you need to know about when each of the three Tests are due to be played and how to watch them on UK TV:

West Indies v England 2022 cricket Test series match dates

All three Tests will be played this month with the first getting underway on Tuesday, 8.

The dates for the all three tests are:

  • First test: March 8-12
  • Second test – March 16-20
  • Third test – March 24-28

The first Test will be played at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, the second in Barbados at the Kensington Oval and the third at the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada.

How to watch West Indies v England 2022 Test series on UK TV

BT Sport will broadcast every ball of the 2022 cricket Test series between the West Indies and England.

Every Test is due to start at 14:00 (UK time).

Elsewhere, viewers in the West Indies can watch the series on ESPN Caribbean while Australian cricket fans can catch every ball on Fox Cricket and the matches will be available on Fan Code in India and Sky Sports in New Zealand.

Joe Root will captain the England side for their three match Test series against the West Indies while the squad also features the likes of Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes.

At the outset of the first Test, the betting odds are incredibly tight with England backed as narrow favourites.

The visitors are 9/10 to win the series while the hosts are 7/4 and the draw is 4/1.
