They say time flies when you’re having fun, and it certainly may pass by a little easier with a rather pricey watch on your wrist.
After turning 18 yesterday (20 February), Cruz Beckham took to his social media to share a picture of his first legal pint with his father, David Beckham and his brother Romeo, and flash his suspected birthday present - a £32,900 Rolex Submariner Date watch.

David’s favourite watch is a Rolex Deepsea 44mm worth around $16,000, and in comparison to other sporting celebrities, the former football player’s taste is rather modest - PeopleWorld takes a look at some of the most expensive watches on sporting celebs’ wrists:
Cristiano Ronaldo - £1 million
Cristiano has generated quite a wealth from his football career with the Portuguese player worth a staggering $490 million as of February 2023.
While some may spend their earnings on a holiday or fancy dinner, Cristiano forked out an impressive £1 million on a Franck Muller watch from the Round collection, encrusted with baguette-cut diamonds and rubies.
Floyd Mayweather - £14.6 million

The undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr, who was recently seen at the 2023 Super Bowl, sports a Jacob and Co ‘Billionaire’ Factory Set with 313 emerald-cut diamonds that make up the case, bezel and bracelet and 12 baguette-cut diamonds.
Venus Williams - £1 million
Game, set, match. Venus Williams wears a beautifully intricate Jacob and Co watch called the ‘Astronomia Green Dragon’ which has 282 invisibly set white diamonds.
The blue strapped watch is worth a cool £1 million.
Lebron James - £2.8 million
LA Lakers basketball legend Lebron James was recently seen with a matching shoe and watch combo, both of which were made by Tiffany and Co.
Lebron’s Nike Air Forces were in collaboration with the jewellery brand while his stainless steel Patek Philippe Nautilus watch was complete with a Tiffany & Co Blue Dial and a Tiffany & Co Stamp.
