Arsenal ‘sizing up’ move for young Aston Villa goalkeeper Oliwier Zych

Arsenal could add a young goalkeeper to their ranks. According to a recent report from The Telegraph, both the Gunners and Brighton are looking to make a move for Aston Villa’s Oliwier Zych, whose contract is due to expire in the summer. As such, Arsenal and the Seagulls will be free to enter contract negotiations with the 20 year old as soon as January.

There is no word on Villa looking to renew Zych’s contract as of yet. He has yet to make his competitive debut for the club - he did, however, enjoy a positive loan spell with Puszcza Niepołomice over the course of the previous campaign.

West Ham seek transfer for Fotis Ioannidis

West Ham have endured a tough start to the 2024/25 season under Julen Lopetegui - Niclas Fullkrug, the striker they signed in the summer, has yet to find the back of the net in the Premier League and is currently suffering from an Achilles tendon injury. As such, the Hammers may look to snap up another forward to help supplement the German international.

Enter Fotis Ioannidis, who, according to TalkSPORT, the Hammers could look to bring on board in the January transfer window. Like Fullkrug, he has yet to score a league goal this season, but is much younger and fresher at 24 years of age.
