Arsenal set ‘massive’ asking price for Aaron Ramsdale

Arsena have set a ‘massive’ asking price of £50 million for Aaron Ramsdale in the midst of the summer transfer window. The former Sheffield United man has been pushed to the periphery, following the acquisition of David Raya - nevertheless, he is still clearly highly valued by the club.

This is according to a recent report from GIVEMESPORT. Ramsdale wants to leave the Gunners, given his lack of playing time - additionally, teams such as Chelsea, Wolves and Newcastle United have all been linked with a move for the 26-year-old. The price set by Arsenal may dissuade them - only time will tell.

Arsenal have bid ‘immediately rejected’ from Wolves for Dan Bentley

Arsenal want to add a third goalkeeper to their ranks, alongside Raya and Ramsdale. They have identified Wolves’ Dan Bentley and put forth an offer for the player - however, it was ‘immediately rejected’ by the Midlands outfit.

Wolves view Bentley as an ‘important’ member of their squad. They would be willing to let him go, but only for an amount that will allow them to reinvest in a replacement.

On Arsenal’s offer for Bentley, journalist David Ornstein said: “Arsenal make opening offer for Wolves goalkeeper Dan Bentley. Proposal immediately turned down - well below WWFC valuation of important squad member. #AFC targeting 30 year-old Englishman as 3rd choice to strengthen ranks in pre-season & beyond.”
