Arsenal striker set for £25m Emirates exit after new Crystal Palace deal emerges
The striker has 19 goals in 116 appearances in the Premier League. He was linked to Nottingham Forest as well as Marseille earlier in the summer, but the French club reportedly could not agree on a fee.
A move to Forest looked more likely, but personal terms were apparently the sticking point. Now, Palace’s bid is understood to meet Arsenal’s demands and Nketiah is likely to make the move to Selhurst Park for £25m, plus £5m in add-ons, according to The Athletic.

He would provide a welcome option for Oliver Glasner after Palace sold Jordan Ayew to Leicester City and Michael Olise to Bayern Munich this summer.
Palace are yet to score in their opening two Premier League fixtures, with the only goal to their name an own goal in their opener against Brentford. Manager Glasner has seen a turbulent start to the campaign with Ayew and Joachim Andersen both departing right before their clash with West Ham United, as well as continued speculation that centre-back Marc Guehi could be on the move to Newcastle United.
“We have lost seven of the squad, and we have brought in three,” Glasner said when asked about plans for the last week of the window. “That doesn’t mean that we need four more, but it’s clear that we have to get at least two more players into the squad.”
Palace have struggled in their opening fixtures, but impressed at the end of last season with a seven-game unbeaten run that saw them finish tenth. That included victories over Manchester United and Liverpool.
Crystal Palace host Norwich City on Tuesday night in the second round of the EFL Cup before continuing their Premier League campaign against Chelsea on the weekend.
