Champions League 2021/22: Round of 16 fixtures, how to watch on TV and bookies odds

The Champions League group stage concluded at the start of December as we saw Barcelona knocked out of the competition, while all four Premier League clubs progressed.

Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United all topped their groups - despite the former suffering defeats to PSG and RB Leipzig.

Meanwhile, Chelsea finished second in Group H after they were held to a 3-3 draw by Zenit in their final match.

Europe’s top clubs will be back in Champions League action over the next two weeks as they look to move closer to May’s finale.

Who will feature in the Round of 16?

Week 1

Four teams will battle it out tonight (February 15) in the first lot of fixtures.

PSG are set to host Real Madrid at 8pm, while Manchester City will travel to Portugal to face Sporting Lisbon.

Pep Guardiola’s side have only played Sporting twice in their history - suffering a 1-0 defeat in the Europa League in March 2012, before winning the second leg 3-2.

Elsewhere, Red Bull Salzburg will take on Bayern Munich tomorrow night (February 16), while Liverpool face a tough test against Inter Milan.

The Reds faced their Italian rivals, AC Milan, during the group stage - winning both ties.

The two dies last faced off in the Champions League Round of 16 14 years ago, with Liverpool winning 3-0 on aggregate.

Week 2

Chelsea will return to Champions League action next Tuesday night (February 22) as they host Lille.

The Blues faced the French club in the group stage of the 2019/20 Champions League campaign, winning both matches 2-1.

Lille were Ligue 1 champions last season, however currently sit 10th in the table.

Meanwhile, next Tuesday will also see Villarreal take on Juventus after the Italians topped Chelsea’s group.

The following day, Manchester United will travel to Spain to take on Atletico Madrid, while Benfica will host Ajax.

The Red Devils haven’t faced the La Liga giants since a two-legged tie in the UEFA European Cup Winners Cup in 1991.

Man United were defeat 4-1 on aggregate and were beaten 3-0 in the away clash.
