The final of this season’s Champions League will take place in Paris on Saturday evening, with both Liverpool and Real Madrid bidding for European glory.

The showpiece clash will now take place in France after UEFA confirmed Russia had been stripped of the event as a response to the country’s ongoing invasion of neighbouring Ukraine.

The high profile contest will now be held at the Stade de France, Paris.

Here’s everything you need to know about the relocated final...

How much are tickets to the Champions League final?

Unsurprisingly, tickets for the final have been in high demand, meaning that Liverpool’s allocation of face value tickets have already been snapped up.

Fans may still be able to purchase tickets through resale sites, but naturally, this means that they will come at a vastly inflated cost.

LiveFootballTickets, who have a 4.5 star rating via Trustpilot, are selling tickets starting at £1,899.

It is also advised that supporters exercise caution whenever buying through resale sites, and research sellers thoroughly before making a purchase.

Both clubs were given 19,618 tickets for the final, but Liverpool have warned against fake tickets being sold to supporters.

These “blags” are being sold for as little as £50, and bear a striking resemblance to the real thing.

A club statement on Tuesday read: “There has unfortunately been an increase in the number of fans being defrauded, online in particular, by fake match ticket offers,’ Liverpool said in a statement.

“If any supporter is offered a ticket online, they should report it to LFC and to Action Fraud.

“Liverpool FC will not stand idly by and watch people try to sell tickets they have been fortunate enough to get access to via the ballot.

“All reports of ticket touting, or online ticket fraud, will be investigated in line with the LFC sanctions process. If a supporter has been found to have offered a ticket for sale online, this could result in a lifetime ban for that individual.”

How much are flights to Paris?

At the time of writing, SkyScanner are still offering a number of flight options from Liverpool to Paris, with the cheapest return package costing around £206.

How much is a Eurostar ticket?

The price of a return ticket from London to Paris on the Eurostar this weekend varies depending on departure times, but could cost around £339.

What is the capacity of the Stade de France?

Paris’ Stade de France can hold a capacity of 81,338 fans.

Who is playing in the Champions League final?

Liverpool and Real Madrid will be the two teams to feature in the coveted final after successfully fending off all other competitors.

Real Madrid left it late to stage a dramatic comeback against Man City in their semi-final earlier this month, while Liverpool had to survive a fightback from Unai Emery’s Villarreal side.

Real will be hoping to increase their European trophy haul to 14, while Liverpool will hope to draw level with AC Milan’s tally of seven.
