England World Cup winner Jimmy Greaves dies aged 81

1966 World Cup winner Jimmy Greaves has died at the age of 81.

The former England striker won 57 caps for the Three Lions and scored 44 goals between 1959 and 1967.

He is best remembered at club level for his time with Tottenham Hotspur, where he remains the clubs all time top scorer, but also played for Ac Milan, Chelsea and West Ham during his playing career.

He found further success after retiring, starring in TV show Saint and Greavsie with Scottish player Ian St John from 1985 to 1992.
