When the final whistle was blown in England' s Euro 2020 semi-final victory against Denmark on Wednesday evening, a nation let out a roar the likes of which hadn’t been heard since 1966.
It’s been 55 years since our men’s team have made it to the end of a major international tournament, and a clash against Italy on Sunday night at Wembley will finally answer the question, ‘Is football really coming home?'.
From the highs of seeing off Germany in the last 16 to the nerve-shredding tension of Wednesday’s extra time win against the Danes, Euro 2020 has been one hell of a ride for England fans, but it isn’t over just yet.
