Manchester City are one of six Premier League clubs to have announced their intention to found a new European Super League – much to the outrage of many supporters.
The Blues confirmed the news on Sunday, a day after being knocked out of the FA Cup by Chelsea, who are also looking to form the new competition.
Before they can push through with the controversial plan, however, it looks as if they are intent on signing a new striker, with Spanish publication AS suggesting that they are leading the race to land Borussia Dortmund’s in demand wunderkind Erling Haaland in the upcoming summer transfer window.
