Liam Rosenior to Chelsea confirmed as manager announces he's leaving Strasbourg - will he be in the dugout for Fulham clash?
Liam Rosenior has announced he is the new Chelsea manager.
The 41-year-old Englishman is set to take over from Enzo Maresca, who left the club on New Year’s Day after falling out with the board.
Rosenior had been managing Strasbourg - a Ligue 1 side owned by the same company as Chelsea - making the transition a rather simple one in terms of paperwork.

While that paperwork has not been completed, Rosenior has publicly said that the job is his.
He said: “I cannot turn down this opportunity to join an incredible club, incredible squad who are Club World Cup champions.
“I haven't signed yet. I have agreed verbally with Chelsea - I will love this club [Strasbourg] for the rest of my life but I cannot turn down Chelsea.”
He added that members of his Strasbourg coaching staff will also make the move, including first-team coach Kalifa Cisse, assistant head coach Justin Walker, and head of analysis Ben Warner.
Presuming his appointment is officially confirmed in time, Rosenior will take charge of the Blues for their trip to Fulham tomorrow (Wednesday, January 7). He arrives at Stamford Bridge with almost a full-strength squad, with only Levi Colwill and Romeo Lavia sidelined with long-term injuries.
