Liverpool are preparing to host Arsenal in this evening’s Premier League tie.

Arsenal and Liverpool return to Premier League action this evening as they face off at Anfield.

After a horrific start to the season, the Gunners have been in fantastic form lately and are unbeaten in their last ten matches in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have been fantastic so far bar a slip up against West Ham last time out that saw them suffer their first defeat of the campaign.

Arsenal could leapfrog the Reds into fourth place if they are to take all three points today, while Jurgen Klopp’s side could move up to second.

Past meetings between the two clubs have often been full of goals and excitement, with Liverpool scoring 21 goals across their last eight clashes.

Liverpool will host Arsenal at Anfield for a 5.30pm kick-off this evening.

The match will be broadcast on Sky Sports’ Main Event and Premier League channels and is also available on the Sky Go online player for Sky subscribers.

Team news

Liverpool have suffered a number of injuries in recent weeks and will be forced to play a weaker side this evening.

Jordan Henderson, Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane all picked up injuries while on international duty, however Jurgen Klopp has confirmed the latter will be fit for the clash.

Robertson could be in contention to start, however Henderson is a doubt ahead of kick-off.

Divock Origi also suffered a dead leg for Belgium but will be assessed.

The Reds are also without Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez, James Milner, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott who all remain sidelined.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have been handed a major boost with the news that Thomaas Partey should be fit ahead of their trip to Anfield, leaving Granit Xhaka and Sead Kolasinac as the only players still injured.
