Emotional tributes have been paid to a footballer who has died at the age of 23.
Posting on social media over the weekend, Welsh side CDP Llannefydd FC announced that one of their players, striker Morgan Jones, had passed away.
Llannefydd, based in the Conwy County borough, play in the Ardal NW League and are currently 10th, with 12 points so far this season.

“Rest in peace, Morgan. You will always be part of CPD Llannefydd.”
At the time of publication, Jones’ cause of death is not publicly known.
Commenting on the announcement, which was posted on the club’s Facebook page, there was a deluge of tributes from those who either knew Jones, or played against him on the pitch.
