Next Everton manager odds: Nuno favourite after talks break down with Crystal Palace
Nuno Espirito Santo is no longer expected to become Crystal Palace’s new manager and is now fancied for a move to Everton instead following Carlo Ancelotti’s return to Real Madrid.
What’s new: Talks over a deal between the Portuguese coach and Palace broke down on Tuesday night. Nuno was tipped to replace Roy Hodgson in the Selhurst Park hotseat.

Hide AdWhy it matters: Nuno is a manager in demand after his work at Wolves, who he left at the end of the season. Three Premier League clubs are looking for a new manager – Palace, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur – and all had been linked with Nuno.
What it means for Everton: The Toffees are looking to replace Ancelotti and Nuno had been favourite until news broke of his talks with Palace. Graham Potter was the new favourite ahead of Eddie Howe but Nuno has leapfrogged them to be 6/4 favourite with Boylesports.
What it means for Crystal Palace: Swansea manager Steve Cooper has become the 7/4 favourite from 9/4 to take up the manager role at in south London. The Eagles have also considered Howe, Frank Lampard and Barnsley's Valerian Ismael – the latter having a brief stint for Palace in the late 1990s.
