20 players that could join each Premier League team during the January transfer window
Here are 20 players that could join each Premier League side this summer.
We are only days away from December and as the snow falls this weekend it is beginning to feel more and more like Christmas.
While most of the country will be impatiently waiting for their gifts, roast potatoes and Christmas pudding, football fans all over the world will be turning their attentions to the January transfer window.
There is little over a month to go until Premier League teams can start making their signings to get them through the second half of the campaign and we have looked at the 20 players that each team could sign...
Arsenal - Ianis Stoica
Arsenal have reportedly already made a €7.5m offer to Romanian side FCSB for winger Ianis Stoica.
FCSB owner, Gigi Becali, confirmed the offer, however they want €10 million for him with a 20% sell-on clause.
The 18-year-old has six goals and two assists so far this season.
Aston Villa - Ryan Kent
Unsurprisingly, Steven Gerrard has been linked with a host of Rangers players following his move to Aston Villa.
One favourite is Ryan Kent, who Gerrard brought to the club in 2019 and whom he also knew from his time with Liverpool.
Brentford - Keane Lewis-Potter
Brentford have been monitoring Hull City forward Keane Lewis-Potter since the start of the season and already had a bid rejected in the summer.
The Tigers value their academy product at £12 million and Brentford could be set to make a second attempt at securing his signature in January.
Brighton & Hove Albion - Dante Vanzeir
Brighton have been tipped to sign Belgian winger Dante Vanzeir in January.
The 23-year-old has scored ten goals and recorded six assists in 15 appearances for Les Unionistes and has caught the attention of Premier League clubs including Brighton and Brentford.
Burnley - James Hill
Burnley have been heavily linked with a move for Fleetwood Town defender James Hill all season and are reportedly preparing a £2 million bid for the centre-back.
The Clarets could consider using Bobby Thomas as part of a deal to land Hill, with Thomas previously spending last season on loan in Fleetwood.
Chelsea - Federico Chiesa
According to Calciomercato, Chelsea are preparing a huge £84 million bid for Juventus’ Federico Chiesa.
The Italian shone doing the Euro 2020 tournament, however he has only scored once in Serie A this season.
Crystal Palace - Borja Mayoral
Crystal Palace are eyeing a January move for Roma striker Borja Mayoral.
Patrick Vieira’s side are monitoring the Spaniard’s situation as he has struggled for game time under Jose Mourinho.
Everton - Arnau Comas
Everton have recently been linked with Barcelona B defender Arnau Comas.
Comas is one of the most promising talents emerging from the Spanish giants’ academy and has attracted interest from the Toffees and Leicester City.
Leeds United - Ross Barkley
Leeds United have been heavily linked with a January move for Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley recently.
The Whites have suffered multiple injuries so far this season and are likely to look to bolster their squad depth in the transfer window.
Leicester City - Isco
Isco is reportedly set to leave Real Madrid in January and Leicester City are one of the clubs linked with signing the midfielder.
If the Foxes pursue a move for the Spaniard then they could face competition from Everton and Newcastle United.
Liverpool - Raphinha
Liverpool have been linked with Raphinha all season with the Brazilian massively impressing for both club and country.
With Leeds United struggling in the Premier League so far, it seems increasingly likely that Raphinha will depart the club eventually - though whether it will be January or the summer is unknown.
Manchester City - Aurelien Tchouameni
It seems unlikely that Man City will spend big in the January window, but one name they have been linked with is Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.
It was reported earlier this month by TuttoJuve that both Man City and Liverpool had opened talks to enquire about the cost of the 21-year-old.
Manchester United - Amadou Haidara
With Manchester United yet to confirm the arrival of interim manager Ralf Rangnick, it is unclear what their transfer plans are going to look like.
However, there are rumours that the German will make RB Leipzig midfielder Amadou Haidara his first signing for the Red Devils - a player he brought to the Bundesliga in 2019.
Newcastle United - James Tarkowski
Newcastle United have been linked with James Tarkowski since their takeover was confirmed last month.
The centre-back has impressed for Burnley in recent seasons and it is looking increasingly likely that he will leave Turf Moor - with the Magpies and West Ham two of the clubs interested.
Norwich City - Conor Hourihane
Since Dean Smith’s arrival at Norwich City he has been linked with a move for his former Aston Villa midfielder Conor Hourihane.
The 30-year-old is currently on loan with Sheffield United but could be tempted by a reunion with Smith and a return to the Premier League.
Southampton - Ben Brereton Diaz
Since Danny Ings’ move to Aston Villa in the summer, Southampton have struggled for goals, with new signing Adam Armstrong only managing two in 13 appearances so far.
The Saints could look to Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz to bolster their attacking options, with the striker in fine form this season.
Tottenham Hotspur - Stefan De Vrij
Antonio Conte will be prioritising improving his defence in January and has been linked with a reunion with Inter Milan defender Stefan De Vrij.
The 29-year-old made 32 league appearances under Antonio Conte as they won the Serie A title last season.
Watford - Amadou Diawara
According to AS Roma Live, Watford have made a bid for Amadou Diawara as they look to loan the midfielder in January wtih an option to buy.
The Italian club are reportedly keen to move Diawara on, with the 24-year-old only making one league appearance this season.
West Ham - Jesse Lingard
West Ham have been keen on bringing Jesse Lingard back to London since his loan spell ended in the summer and it is looking very likely since his contract talks with Manchester United collapsed earlier this month.
If the Red Devils don’t sell the midfileder in January then they will have to see him leave for free at the end of the season.
Wolverhampton Wanderers - Renato Sanches
Wolves are reportedly leading the race to sign Lille midfielder Renato Sanches.
The West Midlands club were thought to be interested in Sanches last summer and are now set to pursue the Portugal international once again in January.
