We are set for another thrilling weekend of Premier League football as the race for top four and the relegation scrap heats up.

There are a number of huge clashes at the bottom of the table this weekend and it could begin to come more clear who will drop down to the Championship next season, while we may also have an idea who could lift the Premier League trophy next month.

Here are our predictions...

Newcastle v Wolves

Newcastle are looking to return to winning ways after a disappointing run of three defeats, while Wolves will be eager to close in on a top four spot.

The Magpies’ long list of absentees could cause them an issue in tonight’s match, with Callum Wilson, Isaac Hayden, Kieran Trippier, Jamal Lascelles, Miguel Almiron, Federico Fernandez and Joe Willock all potentially out.

Wolves are unbeaten againts Newcastle in their previous eight meetings (W3 D5) and will be confident of taking another three points on their trip up north.

While Eddie Howe’s side are unlikely to suffer relegation at this point, they will be desperate to avoid defeat yet again.

Prediction: Newcastle 1-1 Wolves

Everton v Manchester United

Everton proved exactly how far they had fallen midweek when they were beaten 3-2 by Burnley to leave them only a point above the relegation zone.

While Manchester United have had their own problems this season, they will be undoubtedly excited at the prospect of a favourable scoreline at Goodison Park.

The return of Cristiano Ronaldo will certainly add the Red Devils a huge boost and will prove a challenge for the Toffees’ struggling defence.

Prediction: Everton 1-3 Man Utd

Watford v Leeds United

Leeds United have enjoyed some improved form under Jesse Marsch, taking seven points from their previous three matches.

While Watford lost to Liverpool at the weekend, they put an a positive performance to go with Roy Hodgson’s first win in the previous game.

Both sides will be feeling confident heading into the tie - especially with the likely return of Kalvin Phillips to the Whites’ line-up.

Prediction: Watford 1-2 Leeds

Southampton v Chelsea

Chelsea will need to redeem themselves this weekend following defeats to Brentford and Real Madrid over - conceding seven goals in the process.

Despite a disappointing week for the Blues, they will feel they are facing Southampton at the righ time given their run of five matches without a win.

Chelsea will surely have learned their lesson and will return to winning ways tomorrow - especially with Armando Broja’s absence from the Saints squad.

Prediction: Southampton 0-2 Chelsea

Arsenal v Brighton

Arsenal missed the opportunity to tighten their group on a top four spot as they fell to defeat against Crystal Palace and they certainly can’t afford to slip up again this weekend.

I can’t imagine Brighton will prove too much of a challenge for them given they have only scored one goal in their last eight matches.

If the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka are at the best then it could be a much more enjoyable day at the Emirates Stadium.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Brighton

Aston Villa v Tottenham

Tottenham have been in fine form and look increasingly likely to earn themselves a spot in Europe next season, despite having a poor campaign for the majority.

Antonio Conte’s side have won six of their last eight league matches, while Aston Villa have been particularly inconsistent under Steven Gerrard.

The likes of Philippe Coutinho and Jacob Ramsey will definitely be a handful for Tottenham, however the form of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min will likely outshine them.

Prediction: Aston Villa 1-2 Tottenham

Leicester v Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace will be brimming with confidence after their brilliant 3-0 win over Arsenal last time out.

Meanwhile, Leicester may not be at full fitness following their 0-0 stalemate against PSV on Thursday evening.

They played a full strength team against the Dutch side and their focus could be set on next week’s second leg.

Prediction: Leicester 1-2 Crystal Palace

Norwich v Burnley

Burnley’s win over Everton has boosted their chances of staying up this season and a win over Norwich could take them out of the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Norwich are in desperate need of some points themselves as they sit seven points from safety at the bottom of the Premier League.

While the Clarets probably have the edge over Norwich, I don’t expect the Canaries to roll over and they will see this as the perfect opportunity to increase their survival hopes.

Prediction: Norwich 1-1 Burnley

Brentford v West Ham

Brentford’s training ground will have been full of positivity this week after their stunning victory over Chelsea, while West Ham’s attentions will have been focused on their Europea League quarter-final clash with Lyon.

The Hammers will need to be well prepared for their trip to France next week and may not put their all into Sunday’s match, however I would be surprised to see Brentford pull off another impressive win.

Prediction: Brentford 1-1 West Ham

Man City v Liverpool

Sunday’s tie has been highly anticipated in recent weeks and is easily both team’s biggest match of the season so far - with the winner likely to take the Premier League title.

City have the home advantage and will be hopeful Mo Salah continues his poor form - though he is always capable of scoring a fantastic goal even if he isn’t playing very well.

The battle between the league’s two best sides is always very hard to predict and it is likely to be tight.

Prediction: Man City 2-1 Liverpool
