Premier League rumours: Reported West Ham target available for bargain price
The Hammers will be looking to build on their superb 2020/21 campaign this summer.
West Ham were arguably the surprise package of the Premier League last term, with their sixth-placed finish defying expectations for many.
The key now for David Moyes’ men, however, is to consolidate their position in the upper echelons of the table, and the current transfer window could be hugely important in their efforts to do so.
But just because they are now rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest clubs in the country, it doesn’t mean that the Irons aren’t still committed to good value for money, and one fresh report from the continent suggests that they could be lining up a bargain swoop.
The player concerned is a 25-year-old full international plying his trade in Serie A, but if rumours are to be believed, he could cost the Hammers just £8.6 million in the coming weeks.
