Silva joined the Blues in August 2020 from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer - arriving with eight league titles and 18 domestic cups under his belt.

The Brazil international has since impressed at Stamford Bridge as he helped them to Champions League glory last season.
Silva’s success in England has seen this become the second time that Chelsea have opted to extend his contract.
The centre-back could feature for the Blues in their first match since his contract extension as they host Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup semi-final on Wednesday evening.
