Jack Grealish was caught on camera giving his boots to a young fan in Wembley following England’s Euro 2020 loss to Italy.

The video, posted online, saw the Aston Villa star share a heartwarming moment with the fan.

The Three Lions’ dream of becoming European Champions ended on Sunday evening (11 July) in a nerve wracking penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw at Wembley.

‘This is a moment I will cherish forever’

The young fan, known on his various social media accounts under the name ‘Super OllyT’ stayed late after the final whistle to grab a picture with Grealish.

In the video, posted on Monday (12 July), Grealish came up to him and presented Olly with his boots from the match.

Alongside the clip and a picture of them together, the caption read: "With all the negative, horrible stories going about let’s see if the media post about this amazing, beautiful moment that @jackgrealish did for my son Oliver.

"Super Jack is an absolute CLASS act on and off the field. Took time with photos with Oliver then asked if he wanted his boots.

"This is a moment I will cherish forever. Thank you Jack."

Following the game, the England winger came under fire from former Manchester United captain and ITV Pundit Roy Keane for not taking a penalty in the shootout.

Keane felt that the more experienced players, such as Grealish and Raheem Sterling, shouldn't have allowed the likes of 19-year-old Bukayo Saka to step forward, and instead taken on responsibility themselves.

However, Grealish hit back at the comments on social media, insisting he did put his hand up to take a penalty, but allowed manager Gareth Southgate to make the final decision.

He said: "I said I wanted to take one!!!! The gaffer has made so many right decisions through this tournament and he did tonight!

"But I won’t have people say that I didn’t want to take a peno when I said I will…"
