When are the FA Cup Semi-Finals, exact times, how to watch on TV
The ties for the FA Cup Semi-Finals will be played at Wembley Stadium.
Manchester City will be facing Southampton at Wembley for their FA Cup semi-final tie. Manchester City beat Liverpool 4-0 at the quarter-final stage to earn themselves a place in the semi-finals. Southampton beat Arsenal in a shock FA Cup Quarter final victory.
After Southampton’s win over Arsenal, their manager Tonda Eckert praised his team and said in an interview that was published on the club’s website that “I think it was well deserved,” Eckert added that “This was not a smash and grab. You always need some moments in there, especially on the ball. You can’t just defend for 90 minutes against a team with the quality that they have.
“I think we had some good spells, especially in the first half.”
Tonda Eckert also said: “In the second half, the game opened up at some points,” and continued: “As soon as they started making substitutions, obviously there was some quality coming on.
“We knew that we needed to be able to react to that and I think we did that quite well.”
Tonda Exkert went on to say that “I think we have quality when the spaces do open up,” and also said: “In the Championship, sometimes you don’t see that as much because we are more on the ball, but we prepare for those moments.
“In the end, it comes down to the quality of the players and I think we did that well.”
