Paul, 24, called out the brother of the undefeated heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, earlier this year on social media. Since then, the pair have gone back and forth with Tyson Fury himself getting involved in February 2021.
Paul released a video on his twitter account saying “I don’t know if you just saw the last video but the desperation is seeping through the paws of the Fury family. It is quite embarrassing, the heavyweight champion of the world is on Instagram talking about Jake Paul begging me to fight his brother.”
Tommy Fury has now recently said on BBC Radio 5 Live ‘I’m doing this for financial gain and making my name bigger in the US.
‘You can’t talk about it in boxing terms. He doesn’t hold a title. He doesn’t hold any rankings. He’s not valued as a boxer, so there’s no other reason that I would be doing it.”
After nearly a year of calling each other out, the fight will finally take place in December.

What is Jake Paul’s no Knock out clause?
Jake Paul’s long time rival Dillon Danis alleged that Tyron Woodley, who lost to Paul in August, was ‘contractually not allowed’ to knock out his opponent.
Danis appeared on the YouTube channel The MMA Hour and said “Tyron Woodley, from what I heard, had it in the contract that he was not allowed to knock out Jake Paul.
“I swear on anything he was against the ropes, I swear, that’s why when Jake Paul was against the ropes, Tyron Woodley didn’t hit him.
I’m telling you right now. It was in his contract where it said you’re not allowed to knock him out.”
A few days after Danis’ accusations, Dutch professional heavyweight mixed martial arts and kickboxer Alistair Overeem accused Jake and his brother Logan Paul of ‘orchestrating’ their fights.
Speaking on the podcast ‘Won’t Back Down’, Overeem said “He’s doing good, he’s going to do good business but of course he is picking and choosing his guys right? Small, wrestler guys that don’t really (having boxing backgrounds).
“So that’s all orchestrated and it’s good for them, right?
“Good for them but they would never if it becomes threatening or dangerous, they’d never do it. They would never come into MMA.”
