Saint West’s love for football (or soccer to our American readers) continues to be displayed over the past week, with the son of Kim Kardashian and herself being spotted at two separate football matches - that happen to also be for teams that have signed two of football’s G.O.A.T’s.

The Kardashian/West’s first fixture was a star-studded event in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as Inter Miami took on Mexican club Cruz Azul on January 21st, with new signing Lionel Messi making his debut since movie to the MLS (the US’s equivalent to the Premier League, just without relegation or promotion battles). Messi’s debut saw Miami beat the side 2-1, but among the celebrities including David and Victoria Beckham, given that David owns the team, there was only one question a sideline reporter had for Kim Kardashian - why was she there?

“My son. He’s obsessed with soccer,” she explained, “and I will do anything for my baby, so I travel the world. We’re doing summer trips, and we’re not stopping.” Saint himself was overly excited getting to meet Messi; many may recall that the pair caught a Paris Saint-Germain game last year, due to Saint’s passion for the Argentinian World Cup winner.

Kardashian wasn’t kidding either about the summer trip, as the pair were later seen in Osaka, Japan to watch Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr take on a Kylian Mbappe-less Paris Saint-Germain yesterday. Dressed in an all-white ensemble and sharing updates on her Instagram during the match, Kardashian was once again collared by a reporter, this time self-confessed Ronaldo superfan IShowSpeed, which player she preferred between Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, the diplomatic Kim responded that she liked both players.

Though it would be the seven-year-old Saint who had a more definitive answer regarding who was better between Ronaldo and Messi; he expressed his admiration for both Cristiano Ronaldo and PSG's Neymar, referring to Ronaldo as his "GOAT" (Greatest of All Time). The activity on the sidelines was more interesting than the game itself, however, as the two sides played to a 0-0 draw.

We eagerly await what team Saint and Kim are drawn to see play next during Saint West’s pre-season tour of soccer… sorry… football friendlies.
