Chase DeMoor did not fare too well on Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle and Perfect Match but could he be set for a better ‘match’ when he fights Tyson Fury next month?

The 26-year-old former American football player and Netflix personality burst onto screens last year when he was announced as part of the cast for season two of reality dating show Too Hot to Handle.

Before appearing on the subsequent show Perfect Match hosted by Nick Lachey, Chase played football for the College of Siskiyous in California and Central Washington University and advanced to professional indoor football with the Arizona Rattlers and Houston Linemen in 2021.

During his college career he was named Division II Special Teams Player of the Year and had the most blocked kicks in the NCAA in 2018, however in his reality TV series career, he was not as successful finding love in either Netflix show.

This year, the former football player is hoping for a ‘vastly improved performance’ in his boxing skills after toying with the sport in November 2022 during a celebrity exhibition against reality star Corey Wharton and a match against Josh Brueckner which left Chase brutally hurt.

Ahead of his bout with Tyson Fury on 13 May in Wembley Arena, London, where they will fight on KSI’s Misfits Boxing card, Chase has teamed up with Jackrabbit Boxing in California to try to resurrect his skills.
