Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondroušová will compete in the Wimbledon Women’s Singles Final. Both women are seeking their first grand slam title after previously falling short in other major finals. 

Ons Jabeur, 28, is a Tunisian professional tennis player. She has a career-high Women's Tennis Association ranking of world number two Ons, is currently the number one Tunisian player, and the highest-ranked African and Arab tennis player.

In 2022 she reached the Wimbledon tennis final but lost out to Elena Rybakina and she was recently featured in the Netflix docu-series Break Point. 

The tennis star has a very supportive husband, the couple married in 2015. Karim Kamoun is a  Russian-Tunisian former professional fencer who has been his wife’s fitness coach since 2017. Karim often shares gym-selfies on his Instagram with motivational captions. 

Speaking to Vogue Arabia Ons said "On the court I see him as my trainer and outside the court he is my husband,” she added "We still have to make sure we have moments together as a couple."

Marketa, 24, is a Czech tennis player and the 42nd best player in the world. She has a career-high ranking of world No. 14 by the Women's Tennis Association. Marketa was the runner-up at the 2019 French Open, where she became the first teenage Major finalist in nearly a decade.

Her husband Stepan Simek is also Czech and a tennis player, however he doesn’t appear to play professionally. The couple were reportedly introduced by her father and have been sharing snaps of each other on social media since 2017. 

The couple had been engaged since the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, where she won a silver medal. They got married in July 2022 with Marketa sharing images of the day on her Instagram.
