Despite the long-awaited fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury yet to happen, the 32-year-old boxer looks set to search for redemption in a rematch against Oleksandr Usyk instead.

The initial fight took place in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September, with the Ukrainian producing an upset and claiming a unanimous decision victory with scores of 117-112, 116-112 and 115-113.

Usyk handed Joshua only the second professional loss of his career and Joshua will be hoping to regain his WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles once again.

Here’s everything you need to know about the potential rematch...

When will Joshua vs Usyk happen?

While the fight hasn’t been confirmed, it is looking likely that the rematch will take place on June 25 2022 - nine months after Usyk claimed the victory in London.

Where will it take place?

It has been reported today that Saudi Arabia are preparing to fork out $120 million to lure the fight away from the English capital.

Prior to his defeat to Usyk, Joshua also lost his titles to Andy Ruiz Jr by TKO in June 2019.

Ruiz’s victory came as a surprise and the Brit went onto win by decision in the rematch six months later.

Meanwhile, Usyk remains unbeaten after competing in 19 fights since November 2013.

Net worth

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Joshua’s net worth is estimated at $80 million (£61m).
