The 27-year old made it to the last round of the 2021 Nordic Darts Masters but eventually fell to Dutch superstar Michael van Gerwen with an 11-7 defeat.

Sherrock received a bye to the semi finals when world Number One Gerwyn Price was forced to withdraw from the event through injury.

Facing off against Belgium’s Dimitri Van den Bergh, another of the PDC’s top players, Sherrock was a heavy under dog and found herself 10-6 down in the first to 11 sets race.

However, she produced one of the most stunning comebacks in recent darting history and won the match 11-10.

Sherrock was once again the underdog in the final but found herself 6-3 up against three time World Champion Van Gerwen.

Unfortunately, the Dutchman’s incredible quality shone through and he was able to secure the title to add a 16th world series title to his impressive trophy cabinet.

Despite falling just short at the final hurdle it was another history breaking moment for Sherrock in just making the final, something the Buckinghamshire native has experience of.

In 2019 Sherrock became the first woman to beat a man at the PDC World Championships with 3–2 in the first round win over Ted Evetts.

Riding a wave of popularity and publicity, Sherrock followed up the historic result with an incredible 3–1 win over 11th seed Mensur Suljović in the second round, before eventually losing to Chris Dobey and being eliminated in Round 3.
