2022 Winter Paralympic Games standings: How many medals have Great Britain won in Beijing?

Beijing are currently hosting the 2022 Winter Paralympics.

Following the Winter Olympics in Beijing, the Chinese city is currently playing host to the Winter Paralympic Games.

With just over a week of live televised sport such as ice hockey, snowboarding and wheelchair curling, the Games will come to an end tomorrow (Sunday).

There are still a number of events to take place before this weekend’s closing ceremony and Great Britain are closing in on 2018’s medal tally.

In South Korea four years ago, Team GB picked up seven medals all together - one gold, four silver and two bronze.

How many medals have Team GB got so far?

Great Britain are currently 14th in the 2022 medal table.

They have earned six medals all together - one gold, one silver and four bronze.

Five out of six of the medals have come in Alpin skiing through the success of Neil Simpson (gold & bronze), Menna Fitzpatrick (silver & bronze) and Millie Knight (bronze).

Ollie Hill picked up another bronze medal in the snowboarding on Thursday.

What is Team GB’s medal record?

Team GB won an impressive ten medals in the 1984 edition of the Winter Paralympics, however since then there most successful tournament was in 2018.

They have never managed to claim more than one gold medal and didn’t strike gold until 2014.
