

The world’s best 16 snooker players are preparing to compete in the 2022 Masters this month.
The competition will return to its home at Alexandra Palace in London after spending a year in Milton Keynes due to Covid restrictions.

The winner of the tournament will take home £250,000 in prize money - with Yan Bingtao currently hoping to retain his title.
Key opening matches
Yan Bingtao will open his tournament against Mark Williams on Sunday, while UK champion Zhao Xintong will make his debut on day two against last year’s runner-up John Higgins.


Tuesday will see seven-time Masters champion Ronnie O’Sullivan will play Jack Lisowski, before current world number one Mark Selby faces Stephen Maguire.
