Scotland vs England Six Nations 2026: What time is Calcutta Cup match at? How to watch live on TV
Scotland host England at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium today (February 14) in this year’s Six Nations Calcutta Cup match.
The historic fixture will have the eyes of rugby fans on it as the teams take to the pitch later today.
The Scots are aiming to reclaim the fixture after England won the Calcutta Cup in 2025. They are also looking to pick up their first win of the 2026 Six Nations campaign following a disappointing loss to Italy last weekend, which saw Gregor Townsend’s men lose 18-15 in Rome.
Scotland captain Sione Tuipulotu admits that the team’s recent run of results have been “disappointing”, but is hoping to spark some inspiration with a win over their old rivals.

he said: “We’re desperate now, not only in the big scheme of things, but also just for our championship. That’s what I’m hoping to see tomorrow, a desperate Scotland team. We’re playing for our championship tomorrow, there’s no doubt about that.
“You can’t lose two games in a Six Nations and expect to be in contention at the back end, so we’re a desperate team at the moment, and I want to see that desperation in the players tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, England are hoping to capitalise on their emphatic 48-7 win over Wales at Twickenham last weekend. Flanker Ben Earl has said that his side are confident but also wary that a hungry Scotland will be looking to return to form.
He said: “I can’t speak on their behalf, but I know what a wounded animal can look like – it wasn’t too long ago that we were losing games and trying to bounce back. The last time we were here two years ago, we learnt a lot about ourselves, we learnt a lot about Scotland and what a hostile environment Murrayfield can be for us.
“It’s another challenge where we’re going to be tested, questions are going to be asked of us and we’re going to have to find ways to work our way out of it. It’s massive for us.”
