Why say yes to the Met Gala 2023 when you can say yes to Wrexham! Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds missed the glamorous A-list event, attended by the likes of Kim Kardashian and Rihanna as they will be in Wrexham tonight (Tuesday) for the open top bus parade.

The couple are set to join the rest of the players on board the bus, which is believed to be setting off from the Racecourse Ground at 6.15pm before moving on to a tour of the city. At a screening of Welcome to Wrexham in Los Angeles, Ryan Reynolds revealed to Access Hollywood that he and his wife would not be attending the Met and said: “We’ll be in the UK. We have Wrexham business to deal with.”

For those of you who are wondering if Rob McElhenney will be joining Blake and Ryan and the rest of the team, the answer is a big YES. He revealed on his Always Sunny podcast that he would make a quick trip to Wrexham to join in with the celebrations.

If you live in Wrexham and miss out on seeing Rob, Ryan and Blake tonight, hopefully you need not worry. Ryan and Blake are believed to have recently bought a four-bedroom property in Marford, which is only just five miles away from Wrexham FC Racehorse Ground, so hopefully there will be plenty of more sightings of the Hollywood A-list couple in the near future.

If recent reports are anything to go by, Ryan is keen for Blake to spend the summer in Wales with him. However, Blake has future film projects on the horizon, so nothing has been confirmed as yet.

For those of you who are in Wrexham tonight and happen to see Ryan, Blake or Rob, I would love to know about your experience, so do drop me a line on [email protected]
