Whether England win or lose against Spain in the FIFA Women’s World Cup final, Sarina Wiegman will definitely need a much deserved break to recharge her batteries. After England won the Euros last year, she posted a selfie on Instagram of her and husband Marten Glotzbach on a beach together, and presumably on holiday. The caption for the post was “Family time! Different mode than two weeks ago but still enjoying all the amazing footage that’s passing by.”

Sarina and Marten have reportedly been together for over twenty years, and share two daughters together, Sacha and Lauren. The couple worked alongside each other when Sarina was the manager of the Dutch Women’s team. Marten was the head coach for the team.

According to The Sun, Marten Glotzbach “started his career at HBS where he worked for roughly ten years as a youth trainer and coordinator. But for the past 22 years, Marten has taught economics and planned football games at Sebroek College in the Netherlands.”

Although Sarina and Marten’s daughters Sacha and Lauren have Instagram accounts, they have decided to keep them private. In 2020, Sarina shared a photograph of their whole family and dog celebrating Christmas together, in front of a Christmas tree. The caption read: “What a year it has been ..live differently, work differently, no fans in the stadiums. We’ve missed you so much! Health is not taken for granted and that has become even clearer in 2020. I wish you a very merry Christmas and a very beautiful, sporty and happy 2021.”
