Andy Murray continued to thrill the Wimbledon crowd in a tense second round win over Oscar Otte at the 2021 tennis championship at SW19.
Murray fought back from two sets to one down to clinch a five-set thriller under the lights – and the roof – on Centre Court on Wednesday 30 June.

The two-time Wimbledon singles champion was helped by the 7,500-strong crowd inside Centre Court on his way to claiming a 6-3 4-6 4-6 6-4 6-2 victory.


It followed a first round win over 24th seed Nikoloz Basilashvili on the opening day of Wimbledon 2021.
The 34-year-old Scot will now prepare for a third round match - here's when he plays next, date, time, and opponent on his return to SW19.

Injuries and the Covid pandemic meant his last match, prior to playing Basilashvili, was a quarter final defeat to Sam Querrey, of the USA, in 2017 when Murray limped off court.
It is a welcome sight for many tennis fans to see Murray back in action on the grass - and one they will get to experience again as the Scot advanced from his second round match.
Murray is scheduled to play in a third round match at Wimbledon on Friday 2 July 2021.
After his victory over Otte, Murray has a rest day on Thursday in preparation for his third round match.

Murray will come up against Denis Shapovalov, of Canada, who was handed a walkover in his second round match due to an injury to his opponent Pablo Andujar of Spain.
Shapovalov is seeded 10th in the Wimbledon men’s singles draw in 2021 and is expected to provide a stiffer challenge to Murray than Basilashvili and Otte so far.
Twenty-two-year-old Shapovalov beat German Philipp Kohlschreiber in five sets in his first round match of this year’s championship.

Murray v Shapovalov is the third match scheduled on Centre Court on 2 July, with an estimated start time of 4.45pm depending on how long the first two matches take.
The action begins from 11am on all outside courts, from 1pm on No.1 Court and 1.30pm on Centre Court on the first Friday of Wimbledon 2021.
It is planned for all gentlemen's and ladies' singles third round matches to be played on the first Friday and first Saturday of the championships.
There is no play on the middle Sunday before the second week of Wimbledon gets going with the last 16 matches on Monday (5 July).

Ladies' singles quarter finals take place on second Tuesday (6 July), gentlemen's singles quarter finals take place on second Wednesday (7 July).
Thursday (8 July) sees ladies' singles semis, and Friday (9 July) is the turn of the gentlemen's singles semis before the final weekend across Saturday 10 July and Sunday 11 July.
The ladies's singles final is scheduled for 10 July and the gentlemen's singles final is due to be held on 11 July - the same day as the Euro 2020 final.
