Cara Delevingne ex-girlfriend Ashley Benson gets engaged to oil tycoon Brandon Davis

Ashley Benson is engaged to oil tycoon Brandon Davis. The Pretty Little Liars actress shared the news on her Instagram stories. Ashley shared an image of her enormous diamond ring reportedly valued at around one million dollars along with the caption “My Best Friend I love you!’

The couple went public with their relationship in February after sparking relationship rumours when they were seen at a Basketball game in January. Ashley previously dated British model Cara Delevingne who raised eyebrows on Sunday after she refused to speak to Sky Sports News reporter Martin Brundle. 

The model snubbed the reporter in a very awkward interaction.

Cara and Ashley famously dated from 2018 to 2020, the former couple were often pictured together during many events and fashion shows with The Sun reporting that the pair got married in a Las Vegas ceremony. Although a source squashed these rumours claiming they had a friendship ceremony.

Who is Brandon Davis?

Brandon is the grandson of billionaire oil tycoon Marvin Davis. Marvin - who died in 2004 - made his fortune through lucrative business deals in oil and entertainment industries. His parents are Nancy Davis Rickel (daughter of Marvin) and Nebil Zarif. 

Brandon has two brothers Alexander and Jason, and two half-sisters, Mariella and Isabella Rickel, from his mothers second marriage. Jason, an actor best known for the voiceover of ‘Mikey Blumberg’ in the animated TV series ‘Recess’ died in 2020 from a Fentanyl overdose. Alexander is an award-winning luxury jewellery designer.

Brandon may look familiar as he previously dated The O.C actress Mischa Barton, and socialite Brittny Gastineau. He was often pictured partying with close friend the one and only Paris Hilton throughout the noughties. 

What does Brandon Davis do? 

Apart from being an heir to the oil tycoon it’s not exactly clear what Brandon actually does for a living. According to reports Brandon has a passion for art and in 2016 he launched a pop-up in Beverly Hills featuring work by Mexican artist Bosco Sodi. At the time he told The Hollywood Reporter “I'm just following my passion. I've been an art collector for many years. I've been transitioning into the launch of Brandon Davis Projects.”
