And that means many of this year’s cast are already arriving down under to complete initial stays in quarantine before the show.

One celeb taking part in this year’s show is radio DJ Chris Moyles, best known for presenting The Chris Moyles’ Show on Radio X.

And ahead of his stint in the jungle, Moyles has reportedly requested an exercise bike and sound system to help stay trim before the show starts.

A close source who has spoken to The Sun said: “Chris has put in his requests to ITV to make sure he is happy during quarantine.

“He can’t be without music and has asked if he can have a sound system so he can play his tunes loud in his room.

“As well as this Chris has asked for an exercise bike to be delivered to his room.

Moyles has admitted to struggling with his weight in the past and even shed a huge 6 stone after previously weighing around 18 stone.

Speaking on Ross Kemp’s podcast, he revealed he still suffers from body dysmorphia despite losing weight.

Moyles was the first celebrity contestant to arrive in Brisbane this week. Other confirmed celebrities who will take part and are currently in Australia include Love Island’s Olivia Attwood, Corrie’s Sue Cleaver, and Owen Warner from Hollyoaks.

ITV bosses confirmed the date of the show had been brought forward slightly to avoid clashing with this year's winter FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The show kicks off on Sunday, November 6 at 9pm on ITV.

This year marks the show’s long anticipated return to Australia after the show was forced to relocate to Gwrych Castle in Wales for the last two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
