Love Island may seem like it's all about the cracking on, cuddling up and catching the feels - but could contestants be more attracted to certain names?
NationalWorld has analysed contestants over the past seven series of the ITV show and determined what the most common traits are in the contestants, from ethnicity to hair colour, age and name.
From our results, we concluded that Love Island bosses are clearly drawn to one syllable names when choosing what single boys feature on the show.

2. Alex
There have been four males named Alex on the show, featuring in seasons two, three and four of the show. Season four was most popular for people named Alex, with GP and mental health advocate Alex George starring alongside late arrival, Alex Miller. Also joining them in the villa was Alexandra Cane. Alex Beattie and Alex Bowen were also contestants on the show. Photo: ITV
3. Chris
Chris Wiliamson and Chris Baxter starred in the first season of the show, then Chris Hughes (pictured) entered the third season and went on to have a career as a social media influencer. Hughes has since made headlines after coupling up with former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson. The last Chris to enter the villa was Chris Taylor, 30, who dated Instagram influencer, Maura Higgins. 4. Jordan
Jordan Ring was the first of the name to enter the Love Island villa, back in series one. Model Jordan Hayes and Londoner Jordan Waobikeze, 21, appeared on the sixth series of the show. Waobikeze entered via Casa Amor and went on to couple up with Rebecca Gormley.
