Carers invited to health care support event

Carers First is inviting carers across Essex to “Empowering voices: Evaluating Health Care Support for Carers” – a special event designed for carers.

If you’ve had experiences of Health care, Carers First want to hear your thoughts and ideas on how the service has supported you in your role as a carer.

Emma Saunders, Carers First Service Manager for Essex, said: "At Carers First, we believe that the insight and experience of carers is invaluable in shaping a more responsive and effective health care support system.

“This event is not only an opportunity for carers to be heard but also for us to learn from them, ensuring that future services truly meet carers’ needs."

The event will take place at The County Hotel, 29 Rainsford Road, Chelmsford, Essex on Wednesday, October 30, from 10:30am to 2:30pm.

Carers First say they are committed to ensuring that carer’s voices are heard, recognising that carer’s expertise is essential to improving health and social care support systems. This is a chance to share what’s working, what could be better, and how the charity could shape future support options together.

To show appreciation for the invaluable contribution that carers provide, all carers who attend will enjoy a complimentary lunch and have the chance to win exciting prizes throughout the day.
