Designed by Culture Creative and produced in partnership with Sony Music and the National Trust, Christmas at Wimpole is a magical, after-dark trail for visitors of all ages.

A key highlight for 2024 is Ros’O by TILT. Clusters of five reeds of various heights in assorted shades rise up to seven meters high.

Cylindrical and flexible, these dainty wild plants, usually lining waterways, add a hip touch of glamour to the surrounding forest.

TILT is a French artistic studio created in 2001 that focuses on the exploration of light and its interplay with art, architecture and space. Their work is inspired by nature or everyday objects which create a dreamlike universe made of humour and poetry.

Another must-see is Paloma by Pitaya. A magnificent swarm of migratory birds has settled down for a while in the trees.

The birds are like urban origamis and are installed organically in the branches like light jewels, there to reveal the magnificence of the trees.

Pitaya is a French creative studio founded by David Lesort and Arnaud Giroud who use the medium of light for a more artistic and empathetic vision.

The new artworks join Wimpole’s already popular illuminated trail, featuring thousands of twinkling lights, seasonal scents, glistening baubles, sparkling tunnels of light, and vibrant woodland displays.

Matthew Findlay, Head of UK trails for Sony Music/RG Live, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing back Christmas at Wimpole for 2024 which will feature incredible, new artistic innovations sure to delight and amaze visitors of all ages.

Make new memories this festive season as more than a million twinkling lights and seasonal sounds transform Wimpole into a winter wonderland.
