The search for the $400 million is still up in the air. Kiara (Madison Bailey), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), and JJ (Rudy Pankow) are in over their heads as drama heats up on the shores of the OBX.

Speaking to Deadline, creators/executive producers Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke said: “Season 2 is going to test our crew like never before. We’ve turned up the dial on everything fans loved about season 1—more mystery, more romance, and higher stakes. It’s a full-throttle, action-packed adventure and these photos offer a glimpse into the next chapter for our Pogues. All we can say for now is buckle up, it’s going to be a wild ride.”

Chase Stokes recently told Entertainment Weekly that season two is “definitely going to test” all the Pogues relationships.

“It will be interesting to see how are John B and Sarah going to move and groove in the Bahamas, taking in the fact that he’s wildly in love with this girl but he’s just recently kindled a relationship with her,” he said.

“Plus there’s all of the things that she’s lost along the way to support John B and the things that she’s learned about her family that she’s been unaware of for her entire lifetime.”
