Who is Taika Waititi?

Waititi is a New Zealand director, producer, screenwriter and actor.

Waititi directed and starred in the film Jojo Rabbit, which won Best Adapted Screenplay at the Oscars, and Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media at the Grammy Awards.

Jojo Rabbit also picked up a Best Adapted Screenplay award from the Writers Guild of America Awards as well.

Waiti also co-directed and starred in the horror comedy film What We Do in the Shadows, which was then adapted into a television series of the same name.

Waititi also directed Thor: Ragnarok, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, and episodes of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian.

Is he in a relationship with Rita Ora and Tessa Thompson?

A picture of Waititi, British singer Rita Ora and actress Tessa Thompson (Thor: Ragnarok, The Left Right Game) has recently gone viral, which has sparked rumours about the directors personal life.

The pictures showed Waititi, Ora and Thompson together in Sydney, Australia. The three were seen very close together, cuddling and kissing.

Waititi and Ora’s relationship appeared to go public earlier this year in April, after the two showed up to a premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under at the Sydney Opera House, however the two are yet to officially announce their relationship.

After the pictures went viral, many took to Twitter to express their thoughts, and confusion, about the situation.

One person wrote: “Pictures emerging of a three way kiss between Taika Waititi, Tessa Thompson and Rita Ora definitely wasn’t on my 2021 bingo card wtf.”

Another Tweeted: “I’m also tryna kiss Taika Waititi and Tessa Thompson… Rita Ora count your f***ing days.”

“If you would’ve told me a year ago Tessa Thompson, Rita Ora, and Taika Waititi would be in a throuple, I would’ve slapped you and called you a liar,” wrote another.

Waititi was previously married to fellow New Zealand filmmaker Chelsea Winstanley. The two married in 2011 and were together for six years before separating 2018.

They have two daughters together, Te Hinekaahu and Matewa.

What is an open relationship?
