Greg Davies (Cuckoo, Man Down) and Alex Horne (The Last Leg, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown) will of course return to their roles as hosts of Taskmaster.

Davies acts as the Taskmaster himself, allocating points and deciding winners, while Horne keeps score and supervises contestants during their tasks.

The two have hosted the show together since it debuted on Dave in 2015.

Unfortunately, Channel 4 is yet to announce an official date for the next season of Taskmaster, however it has confirmed that it will be coming to our screens later this year.

In the past, there has been a relatively quick turnaround of seasons, with multiple seasons aired in the same year, so fans of the show hopefully shouldn’t be waiting too long.

Where can I catch up on past seasons?

All previous seasons of Taskmaster are available to watch on the Channel Four website.

Earlier seasons of the comedy game show had fewer episodes, with season one having six episodes, season two five episodes and season three five episodes.

As the series goes on, each season was allocated more episodes, with series six to 10 all having 10 episodes each, and series 11 having 11 episodes.
