BBC One’s The Repair Shop is not just any old restoration factory, as craftsmen bring family heirlooms back to their original condition and each repair has a story to tell.

From furniture to children’s toys and jewellery, furniture restorer and frontman Jay Blades uses his team of professionals to revamp and mend the memories of those who knock on their warehouse door.

The museum is open to visitors all year round, and is a perfect tourist spot as it sits just by South Downs National Park, near Chichester.

It’s usually open to the public for visits, but due to Covid restrictions you can only visit for outdoor purposes at the moment.

Advertised as “a hidden gem in the South East, quintessentially British in a picture perfect setting,” on its website, the museum focuses on preserving and showcasing how people historically lived.

You can mosey around the entire museum when restrictions in England ease further on 17 May.
