Brian Ellis was Chief Reporter for the Lancashire Post until July 2023. Brian has spent a lifetime in the newspaper industry, including more than 35 years covering news and sport for the Post in two spells. Many readers may remember Brian as the LEP's man at Deepdale, reporting on the fortunes of Preston North End for 18 seasons between 1991 and 2009. But either side of that he has been on the news beat covering the daily life of the county for the Post and its sister papers.
