Former President Barack Obama and rock legend Bruce Springsteen have a new book out based on their “Renegades” podcast.

What is Renegades: Born In The USA about?
Renegades is a coffee table book from Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen.
The book chronicles the conversations had between the pair in their podcast of the same name. They share exclusive stories about their life, music and the love for America. The pair also discuss marriage, fatherhood, race and masculinity.
Obama told NPR that part of the goal of the podcast was to “offer with some humility the sense there is a common American story to be had under all the polarisation and division and anger and resentment that had been fanned” during 2020.
The official synopsis of the book reads: Renegades: Born In The USA is a candid, revealing, and entertaining dialogue between President Barack Obama and legendary musician Bruce Springsteen that explores everything from their origin stories and career-defining moments to our country’s polarized politics and the growing distance between the American Dream and the American reality.”
The book is 320 pages long and includes more than 350 full-colour photographs and illustrations.
