The One Direction singer has sadly died aged 31 after falling from the CasaSur Palermo hotel balcony in Buenos Aires in Argentina. Fans are mourning the tragic loss of the singer taken too soon. Tributes from celebrities and fans have been pouring in for the singer.
According to reports Liam Payne fell from his balcony at the Casa Sur hotel and died due to the singer suffering very serious injuries incompatible with life. Local authorities have said they will conduct an autopsy and investigate the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death.

In 2012, Whitney Houston died after drowning in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. The iconic singer had struggled with addiction for many years and drugs were reportedly found in her system - she was 48 when she passed but her music will live on forever.
Model and actress Anna Nicole Smith died at the Hard Rock Hotel, Florida in 2007. The cause of death was determined as an accidental drug overdose aged 39. The actress had also struggled with addiction to prescription drugs, but she will forever be remembered as mother to her two children and a larger than life character.

Hide AdINXS singer Michael Hutchence took his own life and was found in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Double Bay, Sydney in 1997 aged just 37. The frontman of the band was reportedly distressed over his custody battle with ex-girlfriend the late Paula Yates. Michael’s daughter Tiger-Lily has followed in her fathers footsteps to become a singer-songwriter.
American guitarist and singer Jimi Hendrix died at the Samarkand Hotel, Notting Hill London in 1970 aged 27. The singer’s death was reportedly due to overdosing on sleeping pills. Decades after his death, he is still described as the best guitar player in the world.
